Software Defined Networking is a relatively new network paradigm that enables unified programmable network control. SDN is still subject to several challenges, such as scalability, availability, security, and reliability. Furthermore, the deployment and expansion of SDN to many specific networks, such as IoT networks, have revealed further challenges, namely privacy issues.
